AIESEC Symposium on Developing Talent in Emerging Markets
A unique networking and learning event designed for business leaders to interact with the top university talent from emerging markets. Businesses looking to gain competitive advantage through recruiting and retaining talent in emerging markets have an exclusive opportunity to learn directly from each other and AIESECs youth leadership. These AIESEC leaders are the presidents of AIESEC in their countries giving each an intense experience in management and leadership and also an education on many of the world’s major issues from a local and global perspective.
Richard L. Baird, Global Human Capital Co-Leader and a member of the Global Leadership Team of PricewaterhouseCoopers will open the event with a Key Note address on the Importance of Developing Talent across the Business World. The agenda consists of multiple workshops facilitated by experienced business leaders and supported by AIESEC members in these areas:
• Sourcing Talent in different emerging markets
• Developing and Retaining Top Talent
• Building capacity in Emerging Markets
The event will be hosted as an open dialogue on the perspectives, experiences and aspirations of young people entering their careers, and business leaders working and interested in emerging markets.
Insights and questions raised during the workshops will be addressed in the afternoon, followed by a panel of experts debating the needs and wants of youth and business in major growth markets.
The event will conclude with a key note from Mr. Andrew Fiddaman of The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum.
